Wicklow Cottage - Things to See & Do

If you choose to rent our Wicklow cottage you'll find that in the local area there are many pretty villages (including 'Ballykissangel' of TV fame) complete with welcoming pubs and restaurants.

The beautiful valley of Glendalough is 20 minutes away and the lovely blue flag beach at Brittas Bay is half an hour down the valley. This Irish cottage is situated in a lovely wooded glen at the foot of Lugnaquilla, Wicklow's highest mountain, which rises to over 3,000 feet.

In the local area there is golf, hill walking, mountain climbing, fishing, sailing and blue flag beaches. Aughrim,Irelands tidiest village,is minutes away by car and Avoca (Ballykissangel) and lots of friendly pubs and restaurants are nearby. The cosmopolitan and vibrant city of Dublin is an easy day trip for visits to breweries, museums and great shopping.
