If you want to rent a self catering cottage near Tinahely our Wicklow self catering holiday home is just over 20 minutes from the pretty south Wicklow village of Tinahely. The village itself is near the Wicklow Way walking trail and adjacent to the Derry River. With great views of the Wicklow Mountains, the village has made a name for itself by providing a large number of excellent walking trails in the immediate locality – many of which have proven popular with visitors to our Wicklow holiday home. The village also hosts the popular Tinahely Walking Festival which takes place on April 14 and 15 2012.

Tinahely is also famous for The Tinahely Show (established in 1935) which takes place on the August Bank Holiday each year (the first weekend in August). The Tinahely Show is a real family day out attracting visitors from all over the province of Leinster and is especially popular with those staying in our Irish vacation rental.
